Mononym (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is collected, used, and disclosed when you use our mobile application (the “App”).
- Account & Profile Data: When you create an account, we may collect your email address, display name, and authentication details managed via our secure backend providers (Supabase/Firebase).
- User Input & Ritual Data: Information you explicitly provide to generate insights—such as birth details for numerology, daily tarot selections, or personality archetype responses.
- Device & Usage Data: Basic technical data collected automatically, such as device model, operating system version, and general app usage statistics to maintain system stability.
We use the information we collect strictly to:
- Generate personal archetype, tarot, and compatibility readings tailored to you.
- Process requests through our AI analysis features.
- Authenticate your identity and manage your subscription state.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve app functionality.
3. AI Processing & Third-Party Services
Mononym integrates third-party service providers to deliver key features:
- AI Processing: Input prompts submitted for personal analysis are processed through secure API endpoints (including Google Gemini API). Data sent to AI services is used solely to generate real-time responses and is not used to train public AI models.
- Authentication & Database: We utilize Supabase and/or Firebase to securely manage user authentication and cloud database state.
- Payment Processing: All subscription transactions and payment details are processed directly by the Google Play Store. We do not store or process your financial card details on our servers.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to provide you with the App’s services. You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time directly through the app settings or by contacting us.
5. Security
We implement industry-standard encryption protocols (HTTPS/SSL) and secure backend infrastructure to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration.
6. Children’s Privacy
Mononym does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will promptly delete that information.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
